I’m Weronika, a fashion photographer based in Switzerland.
Fashion was always around me growing up. My mum worked making clothes, and I remember bringing her pictures from magazines of things I wanted to wear. We would go together to choose the fabric and all the little details, and then she would make them for me, which felt so special.
I never planned to work in fashion myself. I chose a completely different path, studied engineering and later spent several years working in corporate.
I somehow found my way back to the creative side much later. I first started creating content for beauty brands, but over time I realised I didn’t really want to work alone in a studio. What I love most is the whole process of a fashion shoot - working with a team, seeing everyone bring something to the idea, planning and organising it all, shooting, and then editing the final images afterwards. I love that feeling when everyone puts their part into it and it becomes something we created together.
That’s what eventually brought me to photography, and where I want to stay.
Outside of photography, I’m also a mum of two, building this little by little alongside family life.
